Baby Goats Amaze The World With Their Strange Behaviour

Meet the delightful quartet of Gershwin, Butterscotch, Marigold, and Bruno – these 1-day-old baby goats are embarking on their inaugural journey into the world of jumping, showcasing their endearing, fledgling attempts. In a heartwarming video capturing these initial leaps, the devoted owners at Sunflower Farm Creamery in Maine share the joy of witnessing their newborns take those first adorable hops.

Captivated by the charm of these tiny jumpers, the farm’s caretakers express their awe, stating, “Not yet a day old and already practicing hopping! By tomorrow, they will be experts.” It’s a testament to the resilience and curiosity of these younglings as they navigate the early stages of life.

Adding to the enchantment, the baby goats are adorned in snug sweaters, a thoughtful touch by the caring farm team. Explaining the sartorial choice, they reveal, “We dressed them in sweaters last night because it was pretty chilly for newborns, but also Rhubarb [the goat mother] is not sure the white and tan one is hers, so we tried to disguise him in a darker color! She seems better about it and lets him nurse a ton, which is great.”

Beyond their undeniable cuteness, Sunflower Farm stands out for its compassionate approach to animal care, proudly upholding a “no cull” policy. This commitment ensures that the animals, including these charming baby goats, are allowed to live out their days in tranquility, avoiding the unfortunate fate of being culled when their profitability diminishes.

The farm’s dedication extends to treating their “little goats like queens,” emphasizing a nurturing environment that prioritizes the well-being of their adorable residents. As a testament to their holistic approach, Sunflower Farm is set to introduce yoga classes, inviting enthusiasts to connect with life’s simple pleasures – from the therapeutic joy of petting a goat to reveling in the serenity of the outdoors. It’s a unique offering that mirrors the farm’s ethos of fostering harmony between humans and their animal companions.
