Sew Love: Handmade Sweaters to Elephants Suffering from Cold

Winters get chilly in Northern India, so volunteers at the Natural Life SOS Elephant Preservation and Care Center have chosen to sew a few truly enormous sweaters for its protected elephants.

It takes around four weeks to form one sweater, and it does not come as a shock knowing that elephants are the biggest arrive well-evolved creatures on the planet. Still, the creature protection volunteers make any doubt that the weaves are not as it were warm and cozy for these enormous creatures; they are moreover colorful and indeed fashionable.

“It is critical to keep our elephants secured from the severe cold amid this extraordinary winter, as they are powerless and defenseless having endured so much creature mishandling making them vulnerable to afflictions such as pneumonia,” cofounder Kartick Satyanarayan said in a release. “The cold too irritates their joint pain, which may be an issue that our protected elephants got to bargain with.” Thank goodness the manhandling those sweet babies had to confront is within the past, with a bright – and smart – future at the natural life preservation asylum ahead of them.
